Next gen consoles

Xbox 360, without a question. Nintendo have poor support amongst developers, and the games they DO bring out don't typically interest me. Playstation games are fine, but I dislike Sony even more than Microsoft, and that's before we get to MS's proven track record with the Live! service, which is very important for me.

Nintendo still seem to be the only firm out there to release interesting and original games material, I have around 30 titles for my cube and I'd say 2/3 of those are AAA titles.

Sony seem to be about as mainstream and safe as humanly possible these days so PS3 doesn't interest me in the slightest.



I think it'a a safe bet that I'll be buying a Revolution (rumours of a tactile controller, think eXistenZ) but the XBox360 looks interesting as well.

I've been a lifelong Nintendo fan, but I would say the new X-Box will be the best console all-round. I'll probably buy both.

I definatly like the idea of wireless controllers for the XB360, can see me leaving them off charge though, wonder what the battery life is like?

Always been a fan of the Playstation controllers, just can't get used to the xbox ones, gamecube has fantastic controllers.



Definatly going to get an xbox but would be suprised if the playstation 3 doesn't end up in my equipment rack (not that i have a rack at the moment :roll: )

The Nintendo Wavebird (wireless) controllers are far and away the best console controller I've ever used.

The big concern with the PS3 is the difficulty in developing games. From what I have read Microsoft have gone all out to make the XBOX 360 a very simple platform to develop on. In the long wrong this could make a big difference. It doesn't matter how good the PS3 is if the games cost more than big blockbuster movies to develop.

I went for 360, I just think that combined with the ease of development the online aspect of things will make it the online gamers choice.

Loving the new controller for the 360. Being able to turn the console on :bow: , not so sure about the new playstaion one tho.

Good point. I remember having to sell my Snes and all the games to be able to buy just the Playstation :( .
