Suicide Kings is a blinder - has a bit of a 'TV movie' feel to it but the plot is compelling and the cast is strong (but then what do you expect with Walken) If you like it, the R1 SE is dirt from DVDSoon ;)~;-)~

Agreed  Not in my top 5 but easily in my top 20 :)~:-)~

Yep Jacob's Ladder is a good 'un! Touching, scary and confusing until it comes together at the end IMO. So if you're watching it tonight and wondering what the hell's going on, stick with it, it's worth it.

"Jacob's Ladder" has to be about the most stupidly muddled film I've ever seen. It starts quite promisingly, but there's a limit to how much I am prepared to have a film mess me about for no reason whatever except that it thinks it can get away with it. :x~:-x~

Dennis Leary is on fine form in Suicide Kings - the tramp scene and one's with his co-thug are top

Couldn't agree more. Not my favourite film by a long way, but it's OK. Nothing confusing IIRC. Only watched it a couple of weeks ago. Robins is spectacular as always.

Saw good old Tim in The Sure Thing last night. Forgot he was in there! Great role playing "Gary Cooper" (as he says in the film "Not the Gary Cooper of course")

Jacob's ladder is incredibly slow though... one of the slowest paced films i own and you have to be in a certain mood to enjoy it IMO.

Jacob's Ladder is a superb film, anyone who disagrees is a poo-poo head.
