Updated mine a few minutes ago and all went well. Will have a look tonight to see if it stops skipping on my two problem discs (Alot of people have reported it has for them).
First link won't work John.

Here's the changes I noticed:
1) Now passes BTB on THX pattern
2) Switching input has improved, it now gracefully stops playback rather than showing an error that is difficult to clear (Apparently Hotplug support may well be in next update)
3) When tray is open, pressing play will now close the tray and start playback (It really annoyed me when it would not do this on old version).
All in all its a good improvement and has fixed the majority of things that were irritating me. I haven't yet checked if the couple of trouble discs I have are still troublesome.

Update: The update has fixed the glitches I had in Jarhead and Cinderella Man. I have not had a single playback issue since the update and I can now calibrate easily thanks to BTB now working.
The Tosh now seems like pretty solid hardware, Highly Recommended.

Firmware 2.0 is out, and includes 5.1 TrueHD amongst some other welcome features like a working 720p.

I've been running 2.0 for over a week now, you can add faster menus and better drive error correction to the list of improvements.
