Guys - just a quick question - Eric you'll probably know this one.
I'm about to start chasing plaster and hiding wires in walls.
To keep things neat I was thinking of one of these down near the floor: http://www.cyberselect.co.uk/product/93.
However, at the other end I've been looking at how to terminate the outlet for the front three speakers and there are various wall plates with female banana terminals on them. For example: http://www.hifistore.co.uk/images/products/l/wm05.jpg
The trouble is there are all the size of a single plug socket i.e. quite big considering there are only 2 banana sockets to accommodate, especially as I'm only looking to use small speakers.
Do any of you know if there are any smaller ones on the market? I guess the alternative is to simply feed the wire straight out through the plaster with no socket.
Any help much appreciated.
Matt.
p.s. the multi input socket: http://www.cyberselect.co.uk/product/93 includes a subwoofer phono connection but the back of it is set up for a co-ax cable - is it normal/okay to use a co-ax cable for routing the subwoofer signal inside a wall up to the point it terminates at a wall outlet plate?
