XBox Live is awesome. Check it out. I haven't played single player and probably won't.

Multiplayer demo is out on Marketplace for us in the UK
Will be out on 1st December here
Played the demo a fair bit already and its just like the old RS6 games with a few new bits (create a character, customisable weapons, rappel lines and fast ropes). Also the assault and defend game type is excellent

After spending far too many hours playing R6V online, there are a few annoying bugs to be aware of when the game arrives in the UK. However, none of them take away from what is a very solid game.
Communication in-game/in-lobby is sketchy. Sometimes you can hear some players, sometimes you can't. I'm sure this is on a must-fix patch list as this seems to happen regularly.
There are some reports that players are getting locked up and/or dropped. I've only had issue with this a couple of times over 20+ hours of play.
Overall, the game is outstanding and is much improved over Lockdown, but a little dissimilar to R6/R6BA. For example, players are limited to 2 grenades--and they are very lethal. There are other interesting gadgets, too. Although, I tend to roll with C4 (which sticks to walls and other in-game "items"). Weapons are customizable with different scopes and such.
The feel is different than GoW, but R6V is quite fun. If you were into R6/R6BA, this is a little bit different, but quite a lot of fun. Also, this game will require a lot of time to fully max your character's available kit (mostly camo's, headgear, and armors). I estimate that it will take roughly 250 hours of legitimate in-game play to obtain the "Elite" rank. It appears, though, that Elite players (when there are some) won't have an unfair advantage over "Privates." So, they've done a fair job of addressing balance issues created Lockdown. Also, in-game appears to be remarkably glitch-free so far--no lean walking, peeking through walls, that I've seen.
