I'll see if I can find the diagram for my old electric screen. From memory, you should have three wires going into it - earth, neutral and live, and four wires going out of it - earth, neutral, live (up) and live (down).

Therefore, the input should be cabled the same as a plug, with the output similar, but with the live up/down option.

I'll get back to you, but don't hold me responsible if it things go wrong............

When I replaced my old electric screen with an automated switch, I used this one http://www.letsautomate.com/10337.cfm?, and the diagram on that page worked perfectly...

Neutral in and out of the switch (blue wire) from the mains to the projector motor.

Live into the switch (brown wire) from the mains.

Live up and down wire out of the switch into the projector motor.

Not sure if there's a diagram about pertinent to Owl screens, and the same warning applies as before.

If I were you I'd not carry out anykind of electrical work no matter how good the guidence.

Your bound to know someone that's a spark or a friend who knows a friend etc...

Fair enough, but it's just like wiring a plug. Mind you, if it's now two months later then they've either died or moved on down the line.
