have a squiz if you're interested

The building is a 14' x 10' block and brick built foundationed structure with a cement screeded covering.. the roof is of felted flat angle construction.

It's clad with wood on the outside to fit in with the rest of the garden (and to hide what it really is!)

here's a gear list:

TAN/TAE/DVPS 9000es

DVL-909

4 x custom TDL RTL-4, 1 x TDL RTL 2 (Centre)

Quested Q12

Pro-V+ into Panny AE100 hitting a DA-Lite 8' 16:9 screen

Varilight 2 gang remote dimmer controlling 2 seperate 12v halogen lighting rings

Xbox,Ps2,DC,GC,N64,Snes,and video linked NTL Cable

Of course, all this gear has to wait till the acoustics and aesthetics are finished!!!!

more pics as I get further into the project

Cheers. it had to be a compromise between performance and style unfortunatly (hence me sticking it all in a building outside so I can do what I want!)

Used these for years in various installs and really can't fault them for the money.

Available in loads of finishes too.. the brushed chrome looks fantastic.

Right... 1st update.

All the power has now been properly installed using unswitched M&K wall outlets

The ceiling and 2 walls are now finished

Just awaiting the arival of some flush-mount sppeaker cable outlets for the surrounds before the back wall can be studded and treated

Still not decided on the finish for the floor (I think it will need a little work with levelling compound to make it totally true)

I reckon a deep pile carpet with serious underlay will give the place a proper "cinematic" feel, the only trouble is... I'm now thinking about channeling into the concrete floor and fitting uplighters all round :?~:-?~:???:

More pics when I re-install Dreamweaver!

.. the pain goes on!

Great recent progress... screen and projector all up.

I decided on a "suede" finish for the walls to cut down on light reflection.
