At last they have the Mazda RX8 on the show, this should have been on a few weeks ago, have seen the ad on tv and it looks very eye catching. If it is half as good as the RX7 then they will have sports car on most male drivers wishlist.
Not to bothered about the Hilux Toyota pick-up that JC will be driving, but I'm interested in what he is going to do with it after what he said at the end of last weeks show.
Don't forget to tune in. ;)~;-)~

I'm sure the RX7/RX8 lose sales because some people dont understand the engine, its a bit of an unknown... even if it was voted 'engine of the year' or whatever (according to the advert)
They probably gain a few sales due to the same thing though, people who want to be different :)~:-)~
I went in an RX7 a few years ago, very nice it was too.

Not one of the better shows, I really enjoyed the 5mins they gave for the RX8. :( Oh, also enjoyed the celebrity bit, Simon Cowell certainly showed us what he can do in a car.
Thought there was too much time wasted on crappy items like the Fiat Panda, cool wall, Toyota pick-up and the new classic wall. :(
To top it all it's not on next week. :(

You didn't like the Toyota Pickup segment? That was the best bit of the show!

They had the rolls there an only gave a quick glimpse!
Once again it was only a very quick look at the stigs lap times so couldnt get any info from that.. why its not on their website i dont know!
The toyota thing was ok, but they clearly could have broken it with a few of those things if they had wanted to - instead they tapped it with the wrecking ball and set fire to a seat and some stuff in the back - nice try.
They should get the top few celebs on the same show and have a race!

I loved Jeremy's comment to Simon Cowell about him squealing the tires through every corner - that's how it's supposed to be done. One hot lap and those tires should be pushed right to the limit.

I wish they'd shown the Nissan 350Z going round... why have it in the studio, get Stig to do the lap and then spend 30 seconds telling you about it when for an extra minute's screen time they could have shown it going round :x~:-x~
And that minute could have been free'd up if they'd dropped that stupid 'classic' board. They have the cool board, why introduce another one?
Nice to see the VW Corrado on there though, I'd quite like one of those to rip round in.

i agree it does look superb and at 22k very reasonable indeed.
I must admit I prefer the look of the 350Z I was suprised when JC said it costs 2k more. I read somewhere it went on sale in the states for $24k USD bit of a price increase for the UK
I hop JC does get a Ford GT then perhaps they can give it the stig to put round the track

Or Simon Cowell, since he's faster than the Stig in that Suzuki  . How many people do you think will be lining up to take a crack at Mr Cowell's time?
Still, get Damon in that car and see what he can do

Saw the very start of the new Britney Spears/Madonna video this morning... HUGE product placement for a silver RX-8 as she rolls up in it and gets out at the beginning of the tune. There's a nice big zoom in close up on the Mazda badge just so there's no confusion :D~:-D~

One good thing tho the engine can run on Hydrogen with very little work. Mazda recon they'll be in production within 5 - 10 years. As we all know Hydrogen isn't a fossil fuel so the http://www.avtalk.co.uk/forum/images/smiley_icons/censored.giflel might be the future and it still uses 95% of the engines power. There is a demo car of this, i cant remember what mag this was in but it certainly sounded interesting.
Oh the other good thing about this engine is the sound and the 9000rev limit! I saw and heard one set off from near my house, i thought it was a motorbike or something, it sounded amazing. I'd love one!
