Does anyone make (affordable) RCA dust caps, to stop dust settling on unused RCA sockets?
Kinda like this http://www.cardas.com/cgi-bin/main_content.cgi?area=Products (http://www.cardas.com/cgi-bin/main_content.cgi?area=Products&content_id=7&pagest ring=Accessories&product_id=29) &content_id=7&pagestring=Accessories&product_id = 29 but i'd need about 60 so it's not going to be affordable. Anyone know the Cardas caps are made of metal?
Does anyone do simple rubbery push on caps like you get on spare PSU connectors in dell PCs?
Here's a photo of one

You used to be able to get 'sheets' of plastic plugs but haven't seen them for years, one mag gave some away years ago.
Why not use cheap phono plugs?

I don't wanna use cheapo RCA plugs because it's not very neat!

use expensive ones then :)~:-)~ You only want to keep dust out

Use RA Noise Reducing Shorties. Again, not cheap but cheaper than Cardas Caps....I think. They only need to be put on unused Inputs.

I used to make these with rief knots, remember Belt? Not sure they made any difference to an ordinary shortie though :)~:-)~

Russ andrew's shorties look like cheapo RCA plugs, and if that's all they are (obviously short circuited), it would be cheaper to buy some cheapo plugs and make my own - but i dont want plugs, they stick out and dont look as neat as caps.

Nice Canares, whats that black thing

I'm not sure what's worse, Russ having to fix all these little errors that creep in due to cost cutting and poor design, or the fact that Russ is kept in business by cost cutting and poor design :?~:-?~:???:
In an ideal world, RA wouldn't sell much more than Kimber cable.

Well, it looks like i've found the manufacturer!
looks like there are loads of people doing them if you search for "Vinyl Caps" in google, but nobody selling small qualities.
