Probably this question is too simple for experienced hands, but I've just bought my first Pioneer NSDV99 system, and I'm learning as I go along.I'm upgrading the speaker cables to QED Orig, and I want to know if I need to terminate the cable on spades/plugs/etc before connecting to the spring clip fittings on the speakers. One possible problem is the very small apertures (2.5 mm x 3.00mm) on the speakers. Are there suitable size plugs or spades that don't cost the earth? I would appreciate any advice.

Moved to a more relevant forum as you'll likely get more specific answers here than in the General chat forum.

Gdp,

you can buy crimp-on micro plugs that will go into a Springclip fitting. Spades and ordinary banana plugs won't normally work however.

Fairly certain that you can get the tiny ones from Maplin if that helps.

Radioshack do them too, they call them pins.
