View Full Version : Eichmann Bullet co-axial cable problem?

A while back I bought one of these on another sites power buy - I think from Uncle Eric. Stunning sound and despite auditioning Van Den Hul's etc against it nothing beats it. But I 'm having a problem. It keeps cutting out :( . It works if I make sure the bullet is firm gainst a wall but otherwise getting very frustrating. On one bullet there is a fine copper wire sticking out. On the other it looks like it may have snapped off? Is this the problem? If so does anyone know where I can get it replaced cheaply (and for note - I am a DIY moron!).

Problem solved. Those nice people at Hificables.co.uk are repairing it for me.

Sorry this is a bit late, but I just checked my Eichmann Bullet Co-ax and it does seem as though yours has got damaged somehow. Glad it's all sorted though

The Eichmann Bullet Plugs are a great concept that certainly perform well but unfortunately this concept is inherently flawed in terms of build quality.

Well hopefully it can be repaired cheaply. I'm using a Van Den Hul in the meantime and it sounds so much more fragile in comparison. If it's too costly I'll be getting one of yours methinks!
