Thank god it's back, Thursday was becoming a black hole in my viewing week. :)~:-)~ It was an interesting reminder in how far American Television has come and how far behind British 'prime time' drama has slipped. :(

E.R. is consistantly one of the best programmes on TV. The second episode was very moving.
Did it mean he isn't coming back? I don't think they can afford to lose another lead character
Did anyone else notice how pratt is looking more and more like Benton

I think he is leaving for some of this season/series to spent more time with his family.
What did you think of Frank ( can't remember if thats his name ) the guy on reception racist remarks ?

Caught these last night. Wow, the second episode was E.R. at it's best.
They seem to have aquired an Indian Helen Baxendale.
MuFu.

MuFu.
It is the British actress Parminder K. Nagra (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0619406/) of Bend It Like Beckham (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0286499/) fame.
Ah, thought I recognised her. Cheers.
Forget the Helen Baxendale reference - I got flashbacks of "Emily" in Friends when she started talking for some reason.
MuFu.

Two further reasons never to miss E.R., can't decide which I like best.
Neela Rasgotra is yummy, it's a toss up, but new nurse Samantha Taggart just squeezes it for me. images/smiley_icons/wub.gif :bestbuddies:
Anybody catch it just now? Wow... just when I thought it was getting a little dull. :o~:-o~

Hell yes.

They haven't found Romano yet either, after his rather ironic demise. Should make for some neat roadkill.</div></div>

great episode but it is a shame to see yet another major character leave the show</div></div>

Definitely one of the best characters they've ever had though.
I thought the way they built up a few sub-plots based around him then let him go in spectacular style was superb. A fittingly explosive end for ER's most volatile personality.</div></div>
Thanks, whoever spliced these two threads together. :)~:-)~

Who would want to be a method actor on that show :?~:-?~:???:
The season has been very Carrie lite and it may look like her and Carter's return are expected to fill the void. Perhaps Carrie will be the replacement pain in the butt for what has been her temporary replacement pain in the butt. I must admit to hoping the one armed bandit got blew clear and is in part of the construction still alive, though unlikely.
Susan has had plenty of air time of late and it was odd to see her in an old ep of NYPD Blue a couple of weeks back.
Kovach seems to be enroute for a fling with the new nurse (name?) but was the flash across to Carter from Abbey indicating he was thinking of her as she was him, how sweet :D~:-D~
