I thought it was a good opener and very reminiscent of the pilot episode. So much has changed and we have so much to find out, I'm looking forward to seeing how the plot unfolds for this coming season .

DON'T TRUST THEM THIS TIME.

Alias season 3 was a huge disappointment :( especially in comparison to season 2 which was excellent. w)

There were less sexy Sydney moments(less Sydney kicking ass &amp; sexy overall :( ), the action was far poorer and the writing and stories just were not in the same league as previous seasons. I can't remember where I read it but apparently even some of there actors were saying that it wasn't as well written! Now that's saying something. Everything felt off and not quite right <div class="dashed" style="padding: 3px;" align="center" width="100%">Reveal Spoiler (javascript://)<div align="left" id="3020929661786111917" style="visibility: hidden;">plus a noticeable character absence!</div></div>

I love Alias but season 3 was just poor :(

I thought it was excellent and, as Jimmy said, more twists that you can shake a stick at.

Tom hold out until it comes down in price because it is seriously lacking compared the first two seasons. I think they simplified it so that the American audience could understand it better and wouldn't be scratching there heads

It's hard to explain without giving spoilers away but suffice it say that Alias pales in every part of the show compared to earlier seasons...

Especially in the action department which has gone from near cinematic quality (or at the very least excellent TV quality) to bog standard, short and uninspired action sequences and less of them.

Far less Sydney in general. :(

I mentioned the writing and stories in my previous post.

I've watched 8 episodes of S3 so far and I must say while it's still very good and entertaining, it's not as exhilarating or unpredicatable as the second season.

And the beginning part of the season was probably the best part too

You've been hanging out with SG too long and joined his faith. Oi Vey!

You'll get to see who else pops up from old and that's an amazing ep. Yes a few dodge moments in the story (I even wrote one up for tvtome to get a cathartic effect as it bugged me) but overall I was happy and left wanting more.
