I am trying to figure out what kind of cables would fit my system. I have the pioneer 2011+ pioneer dvd 656a and Canton LE 109 set of speakers. I do have the van den hul (the clearwater) speaker cables. I listened today to the Monster cable coaxial M1000 as well as the monster interconnect. Can you guys give me some help to find good cables which will not be so expensive. I also need a component cable and a sub cable.
Did you hear something about the Van den Hul clearwater speaker cable?

Hi there. I have the 2011 and use the Eichmann Express Digital Coaxial cable which I find very open sounding and seems well made, featuring the excellent Eichmann Bullet Plugs.
For audio interconnects I use the Ecosse 'Composer' cable which is a great value for money Vs. performance cable. Sub wise I use a specifically made up version of the Ecosse 'Conductor' interconnect, which Ecosse themselves recommend for using with a sub.
Component wise, the best cable I've used is the Scorpion Component Cables.

I have tried most cables, and yes the cost can be very high, the one thing about cables is to read as much reviews you can, over a 2 month period or longer, then decided for your self, others wise you will not be happy with others saying buy this one.
I have done just this above, and i have decided to buy only QED cables for my complete system over the last year.
Remember the higher the cost of the cable does not mean the best cable, but a big hole in your wallet..........

Cables are just physics. Good quality75ohm crimped cables are required for video and digital audio. These can also be used effectively for analogue audio I've found 50ohm microphone cables to be good in this repect as well.
Scorpion cables use high quality cable and connectors that fit the bill for video. Considering their price they are a bargain.
