I have this Pioneer Amp and I was wondering (I have looked in the manual honest) if it is possible to change the Bass and Trebble on it? Or is it just a preset thing?
I would have thought it would at least give you that option Sarge. Does it have an Onscreen Menu? Might well be hidden in there as Tone Controls?

Yeah it does have OSD but I can't find it anywhere :( Thanks for the reply Jase :)~:-)~ I'll dig a little deeper.
Is this your amp Sarge?

According to the specs you can adjust Bass & Treble. To access any OSD you need to connect either a composite cable or S-Video cable from the amps MONITOR Out socket. Once in the OSD, setup should be a doddle. :)~:-)~

That's the one. Thanks Jase you are a star. :bestbuddies:
There's probably a way to change Bass & Treble via the front panel but I can't find a decent picture of it to have a look. Found this but it's not clear enough. Also shows back panel etc

Yar mein Furher
Thanks again Jase. I'll have another good look at it tonight to see what I can see on the front panel. If not I'll invest in a cable so that I can access the OSD :)~:-)~

Well Jase. I've had a good look but cannot find anything to say where you change the bass and trebble. So I'll see what happens once I get a cable. Thanks for your help matey. images/smiley_icons/icon_thumbsup.gif

Just downloaded the manual for your receiver from Pioneer Europe.
Page 38 says:
<table border="0" align="center" width="90%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td class="SmallText">Quote:</td></tr><tr><td class="quote">
Press this button to access the
bass and treble controls, which
you can then adjust with the
MULTI JOG/INPUT SELECTOR

Thanks for that Squirrel. I have tried what it say there and in the manual and when I try and do it on the DVD/LD or TV/SAT input selections it doesn't let me change the Bass & Trebble but when I select other inputs i.e video or AUX it allows me to change the Bass & Trebble. So I'm not sure WTF is going on.

I got this reciever this week and have a quick question for those who have it [namely sgt colon!]
I am playing through 5.1 channels. Which rear speaker posts should i be connecting as there are 2. I have gone for rear surround and left rear back alone, is this correct?

Ohhhhh ya know Chris I can't remember what I put where. If you can wait a while I'll check tonight and get back to you. :)~:-)~

The only way of adjusting the bass/treble on the 2011 is via the remote.....

cheers sgt, sorry to hear about your back :(
anyone else know how to get the on screen menu's up? have put from monitor out on reciever to s-video in on telly, nothing coming up though

I have my back speakers plugged into just the "Surround" and not the "Surround Back"
Also just to let you know I have the Mission FS2's and just with ref to what you were asking about cross over. Set it to 200. Set all your speakers to small and set your 6.1 to auto. If you want anymore help just give me a shout.
Hope that helps.

Cheers SGT!!
Crossover set to 200, thought 80 was the best setting, which this amp doesn't have, so 100 is the next best setting?
31-07-2003, 08:20 AM
Lmao, Chris. Like the Avatar
Well from help I have recieved from peeps on here it had been decided that 200 was the best setting to go with.

Checked the manual for the Amp last night and they say to set the crossover to 200 if you have bookshelf type speakers.
