Did anyone watch Frank Skinner's new show. Awfull just awfull, dont think i even smiled let alone laughed.

I saw a bit with him in a pub. Very cheesy. As a rule, Frank doesn't make good sitcoms - all of his previous ones have been bad. He's hilarious just being himself and that's how it should stay. He doesn't transfer well to scripted scenes.



Incidentally, I heard him saying that he wanted Shane to be a traditional, old-fashioned sitcom. WHY FRANK WHY? :roll:

i made a point of watching this because i quite like frank skinner....it was rubbish :(



i'll stick to vintage skinner on paramount comedy :thumbup:

I guess none of you like Carry on Movies either then. This show is so much like the carry ons and I like them both.

On some jokes i can see how the should and could be funny but they just aren't! Maybe it's in the delivery?

The fact it's on ITV probably doesn't help. They don't know how to make a decent sitcom - look at the difference between Men Behaving Badly on ITV and Men Behaving Badly on BBC1.

Agreed it's sh'ite muslim this prog. I only saw a bit too with them trying to keep viewers with some bird showing cleavage and the jokes that fell like a pearl neclace - or was that a later night prog...
