Always loved South Park and although I've missed loads of them due to Sky's various scheduling changes over the years, I've recently got back into it and find it funnier than ever. Definitely one show that's maintained it's consistency.

Of recent animated TV shows, what's your favourite?

IMHO, southpark wasn't really consistent. The first few seasons were pretty awful.

The newer episodes, however, are just hilarious. My personal favourite being the south park Homage to the Lord Of The Rings films :D~:-D~.

Regardless, I voted The Simpsons, since whichever way you want to look at it, it IS the most consistently hilarious show on TV.

Always Family Guy. The amount of references and offbeat humour means that it's not up everybody's street, but to me it's the coolest one going. Roll on season 4.

Still always watch the Simpsons though, although it seems to have run its course for a while. A bit overloaded with satellite TV's scheduling meaning everything is on every day (much prefer weekly shows).

South Park never really did it for me. A lot of shock value and a few funny ideas but not a lot of depth to sustain it.

Simpsons for me too.

Homer is the coolest guy on tv

I'm the only person who voted Futurama?

South Park - inconsistent

The Simpsons - really tired these days

Family Guy - it's great, but it's no Futurama

Futurama beats them all by not only using the human stereotypes that are a staple of the others, but by exploiting the humour potential of non-humans. Dr Zoidberg for instance would never work as a human character, even Dr Nic from the Simpsons knows more about medicine than him

The Simpsons for me, though i've missed most of the last couple of seasons.

South Park - inconsistent

What is it with you people? Cartman is without question the most consistently hilarious cartoon character ever invented. I feel like kicking you all skwar in the neuts.

Voted Family Guy. Three seasons of perfection, and not a dud episode amongst them. The Simpsons, even at it's best, was never up to the standards set by FG, let alone now when it's tired and ran out of ideas 5 series ago.

South Park is okay, but not something I'm overly bothered about watching every week. Futurama is better, but again - not too fussed.

I do like futurama too, but for me FG gets it. Zoidberg is very funny, and I lapse into him when I'm drunk, but you can only vote for one. The characters in FG are stereotypical, yes. (right down to the dry talking sarcastic alcoholic dog and the Henry Higgins-esq sadistic child ;)~;-)~ )

To me, though, that is the foundation with which to build all the humour on top of, and every episode has top-notch humour in it...

Futurama for me. There's just too much to like about it, from the writing, to the characters, to the animation itself, its just too cool. And Zap Brannigan. Nuff said.

It's a tie, IMO, between The Simpsons, Futurama and South Park for me. I voted for Futurama though

Simpsons - up until about series 9 it was the funniest thing on TV but it definitely went downhill after that. The most recent series has been very good though, and is a slow return to its previous form, IMO

Futurama - 4 seasons of brilliance. Without doubt, the funniest cartoon I've ever seen and, when compared against the last 6-7 years of The Simpsons, it is far funnier

South Park - I haven't seen it for a couple of years. I watched series 5 though and it was brilliant. Completely outrageous, no regard for political correctness and Parker/Stone just try to offend everyone and anyone

I feel like I should add some kind of warning but the people who find these things offensive deserve to be offended, in my opinion.

South Park very closely followed by Family Guy

South Park is an absolute must watch for me

I just wish the networks would treat South Park and Family Guy with the same respect they have for the Simpsons.

The Simpsons is dead as far as I am concerned. It just doesn't do it for me anymore, the new episodes are just not funny.

Family Guy, though futurama is a close second. i can't believe they cancelled both of these, though Family Guy has been re-commissioned. I do like South Park but I have seen the movie uncountable imes and the episodes can never really live up to that level of genius.

As The Simpsons started a while back, I think I can include my personal favourite - Batman. Just got the complete first season DVD set and had forgotten how good it was, especially with the Danny Elfman theme giving the whole thing a more epic feel.
