Paranoid about Scart's...quick question

Kinda paranoid if i am getting the best from my rgb scart connections and wondering if you guys could tell me if i am being paranoid or not...

...Are scarts meant to go all the way into the socket? As in so there is no metal showing at all? Atm all of my scarts are securely connected but there is at least 5mm of metal showing on all of them and i have tried pushing them in further, not that hard, and they don't seem to properly 'lock' into the socket.

they are all quality QED/Ixos scarts

Depends on the socket - they don't all allow the Scart plug to go in flush, though 5mm excess seem a lot. The QED Sqart ones can need a good hard push though.



Anyway, as long as they are not too loose, don't stress ;)~;-)~:wink:.
