Is there any scientific basis for the claims that expensive, oxygen-free hi-fi cables produce audibly better results than cheaper standard ones.
an article in New Scientist - http://www.newscientist.com/lastword/article.jsp?id=lw582

Interesting Graham, but hardly objective science conducted by independent researchers - Udo Zucker of TagMcLaren no less, with a link to the Tag site extolling the virtues of their AvantGarde cable range!
PS I'm actually in the cables make a difference camp.

I have to agree with deckard - interesting article and link to a 'White Paper'?? :?~:-?~:???: but this should be described as a piece of Tag marketing litriture for there Aventgarde cables - you can tell by the fact that alot of the the facts are very opinion based and the best just happens to be the cables and connections they use.
Thats not saying they are totaly wrong though in some of the info on the paper.
