Standalone Meridian transport equivalent to 506..?

Hi, I was wondering if any of Meridian's stand-alone CD transports uses the same (very cool) in-tray transport mechanism as the 506 CD player?

I have the Meridian 200 Transport, and it has the all-in-on, as I believe does the 500. The next one up is called a 601, I think.

The 500 transport uses the same draw assembly as the 506.



They are no longer available new (Meridian don't do a 500 series transport now) but you should be able to find one for around £500.

Hmm, for £695 you should be able to get a 506 and get the transport plus DACs as well!
