cd's

can someone help me find out the best quality cd's to check speakers and the receiever. I am interested in classical, jazz and blues/rock.

as well, i have vsx-2011 (pioneer receiever), dv-656a and canton LE speakers. do you recommend using the monster cable 1000 series for them?

I got a CD from the Tag website called 'test tracks' or something.. its a CD they have put together and includes notes on what to listen for on each track.
