Great idea, but with most of the games they've bundled with it being crap (notable exceptions include Uridium, Winter Games and Pitstop), makes me glad I still have my original.

Saying that, a few years ago I played some of my old favourites on an emulator and I have to say they were not the same as I remembered.

Another Hewson classic  . While possibly not as good as Uridium I have actually played this on the C64, so I did appreciated the enhanced number of colours over the speccy.

Oh wow this has just made my day! FANTASTIC!!! I loved my C64 and had over 300 games ranging from flight sims to a voting game where you had to get counties to vite for you and Last Ninja to oh just about everything!!!!

The Commodore 64 is a HUGE part of my childhood and I have very fond memories of those times! Ahh the nostalgia! I'm getting misty just thinking about it!!!

yes but we are remembering them with rose coloured specs

don't forget the loading times and then the http://www.avtalk.co.uk/forum/images/smiley_icons/censored.gifer crashing at the last minute.

My first games console was an Atari passed on from my brother.

Then one Christmas when I was 7 ish I got a rubber keyed speccy. It came with Manic Miner, Harold goes Skiing, Jet pac and I loved them all.

I then progressed to a C64, Megadrive, N64 and now have an Xbox (which I very rarely play tbh)

Daly Thompsons decathlon - I killed some many joy sticks playing that! I think I'll have to get one of these just for Uridium, great game.
