I am looking for a supplier of black ash veneer.
Anybody know of one?

When I used to build speakers and subs I used two places really for veneer requirements:
The first one is a time served veneer dealer and has some very exquisite examples but should have something that matches your requirements - give them a call they're very help and will provide samples free of charge and quickly.
The second one does the easy iron on stuff that you could paint black yourself. I have a roll of 2.5m x 30cm that you can have for nothing, should you need it.
Finally I can also suggest Fablon, its the sticky back plastic mock veneer stuff that they use on cheap chip board furniture. My locel B&Q does this on the rolls. Very cheap and easy to apply, though it looks a little tacky close up. If you've seen a Servo 15 this is covered in fablon :)~:-)~
Thanks for the sources, I will try Wilmslow tomorrow. They do the sheets, but what about the edging? Guess I will find out then.
