Sony DAV SA30

Im new to this forum but wondered if there might be someone who could point me in the right direction. I have a Sony DAV SA30, a home cinema system that's about five years old. It's worked well until now but suddenly there is no sound at all. It seems crazy to replace the whole thing as we have a sony TV purchased at the same time and have now plans to buy an HD TV or anything flash at the moment. Does anyone know if there is a DVD player that I could buy that the speaker system would plug into? Any thoughts on whether repairing the SA30 might be worth while and how to find someone to do it? Any thoughts very much appreciated.
