The Pioneer receiver is In my Opinion is really Good, If ur hoping to use it for upscaling ur old analoge cable or sky then theres not really much difference in the picture Quality so dont get it if thats what u want to do. However i dont really think anyone would really use this or many other amps for this reason ,
For sound and connectiverty its very good, its got Dolby TrueHD 7.1, DTS-HD Master Audio sound with many other, u can use 3 hdmi inputs so not sure if that may be a problem for u. ive got xbox 360, ps3 and HTPC connected to it.
Overall I can use this amp on full volume and it doesnt have any problems with it still giving the crystal clear sound.
