I think i actually might be tiring of gaming then, as i have all those those, and cant get into any of them.

The last game that i completed and enjoyed was Supreme commander 2 and even that was a bit wanky.

Maybe my love of gaming has gone.

more likely that the current crop of games are a bit samey.

I played mass effect 2 but thinking back, I didn't really enjoy it, just felt I needed to complete it.

BC2 is a stand out for me as well, but perhaps that is because it feels less hyped than the other big games of the year.

I admit, defense grid and shadow complex would be the two highlights for me from the last year..

Following England abysmal displays at the World Cup I've decided to take over them myself with EA's World Cup 2010. It's pretty good although I'm pretty crap! Good for when your mates are round though.

Tried to play BC2 over the last couple of days and wasn't overly impressed. I found that it was clunky to play, even more so than the first one, which I loved. This one felt like it was just going through the motions with no real fire power, there is very little use of the technology and it was quite boring to play. I tried the online demo when it was available and didn't like that at all (regardless of lag). I'm just glad I borrowed it!

Just finished Limbo on Xbox Live Arcade. A fantastic game; very atmospheric. I would recommend everyone try it, but don't read anything about it first or it will ruin it.

A few puzzles can be tough but very satisfying once you crack them.

mate, it's game of the year for me. I couldn't get into the demo either, but it makes modern warfare look so 1 dimensional, as you really have to think about how to attack and defend (I guess you tried the rush multiplayer?)

am now thinking about either limbo or monkey island.. not sure..

I was playing the single player campaign, plus I've heard that alot of people snipe online all the time which would be great.

I'm on Crackdown 2 now which is quite addictive, the demo for this was sh*t too but once you've played a couple of hours it gets more fun. The online to it though is quite manic.

I get fed up with the air support sometimes on BC2 though. A few times a couple of guys have gone up with an Apache and just slaughtered everyone on the ground, no sooner do you get to a rocket or AA gun before you're respawning. Other than that it's tactically more interesting than MW2 but not as slick graphically.

True, but very rare to come up against someone who can actually fly one well and hit their targets at the same time. Still playing this online and still not getting bored of it. Easily the game of the year so far for me.

yeah, BC2 does seem unbalanced at the start, but I think this is due to the amount of different tactics a team can adopt - with regards the apache, a couple of players with tracer darts and cg's will have them down within seconds.. well, they seem to when i'm flying it
